2. Public Domain Content

Books in the "Public Domain" section are provided by Project Gutenberg and are free from copyright restrictions under U.S. law.

3. User-Uploaded Content ("My Books")

3.1 Your Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

• You own the copyright to any content you upload, OR
• You have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to upload and use the content
• Your use complies with all applicable copyright laws
• You will not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights

3.2 Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload:

• Pirated or illegally obtained books
• Content you don't have rights to use
• Books still under copyright without permission from the rights holder

3.3 License You Grant Us

By uploading content, you grant Monty Typing a limited license to:

• Store and process your content
• Display it back to you for typing practice

We do NOT claim ownership and will NOT share, sell, or redistribute your content.

4. Copyright Infringement & DMCA

If you believe content infringes your copyright, please contact us at:

We will promptly remove infringing content upon valid notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

5. Service Use & Restrictions

Monty Typing is a personal typing practice service. Your subscription is for your individual use - you can practice with our public domain library and your own uploaded books. Please don't share your account, resell access, or use the service for business/corporate training programs.

6. Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monty Typing from any claims arising from your uploaded content or use of the service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Public Domain Books

Books in the "Public Domain" section are sourced from Project Gutenberg, a library of over 70,000 free eBooks that are in the public domain in the United States.

These books are free to read, download, and use because their copyright has expired or been released.

User-Uploaded Books

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload content.

You MAY upload:

• Books you authored yourself
• Books you purchased that allow personal digital use
• Books for which you have explicit permission from the copyright holder
• Books in the public domain

You MAY NOT upload:

• Pirated or illegally downloaded books
• Books protected by copyright without permission
• Content shared with you that you don't have rights to use

Copyright Infringement
